    AN-SOF ANTENNA SIMULATOR
---------------------------------------------------

This simulation features a 5-element log-periodic dipole array, utilizing implicit transmission line models for the interelement feed. It is important to note that each transmission line connecting the elements carries a negative characteristic impedance of -490 Ohm. This implies that the line is twisted in a manner where one end exhibits a 180-degree voltage reference shift compared to the opposite end. This simulation accurately replicates the connection between the elements and the central boom found in real log-periodic antennas. The boom comprises two parallel tubes, forming a transmission line with interleaved antenna elements.

At the end of the boom, there is a section of transmission line terminated in a short circuit. This short circuit is simulated by connecting a line to a short wire. This section includes a very high parallel admittance of 10^6 Siemens, which imitates a short circuit. It is worth noting that the resulting radiation pattern is directional, aligning with our expectations.
